janey lady's leaving do, and how it was invaded by a lomo weilding nutter. Film #002, fish eyes

the second of the janey's night film. By this point i think the booze was taking hold as double exposure started creeping in. I love them more than the straight shots though. I now really want to play with double exposing facial expressions and using the splitter. Thanks to all the very patient friends I used to have for letting me blast away in their faces.

janey lady's leaving do, and how it was invaded by a lomo weilding nutter. Film #001, super close ups

thursday before last was the amazing janey lady's leaving do from the tas at the prince of wales feathers. To cover my happiness at seeing everyone again and jane being free i took the lomo and proceeded to stick it everyone's face. This was much for me but i feel might have wound everyone else up somewhat.
Anyway three films later and I'd taken as much as I had.
This is the first film (well the better bits of it) more to come soon.

last post of the night, 35mm in the cardobard pinhole camera

So on my leaving Digitas london, janey and kesh funded by very kind people at the tas bought me this make it yourself DIY cardboard pin hole camera. It takes 35 mm and has an awesomely simple pull up shutter. This said working out exposures was an issue, as was pulling up the shutter without moving the camera. Photos all from round work shot on my lunch break. These are the results.

Playing with the Contessa Nettel Cocarette of my great grandfather

ok so not 1900's like i thought but from the 1920's. It belonged to my great grandfather gogo. The case still has his hand written exposure times stuck to the inside of the case. This is what it looks like.
and yes i couldnt resist taking more shots of my wheels on a grey over cast day in wales before i came back to london.

dogs and car, diana f fun times back home

some pictures from back home working on my car and feeding the dogs. the last two photos are the pile of parts left to fit and my work table in the garage. I have heard of a thing called a clear workspace but I have no truck with such frippery
